Now I have a vest top that I absolutely love that I have been known to wear to the pool on occasions. Needless to say when you see it Nat absolutely detests it. So... Here it is.

Anyway back to the day - we did deviate from the plan slightly by going to the launderette (big day!). Getting washing done here is ridiculously expensive. It's about four times the amount it has been everywhere else but needs must - Nat is running out of knickers and, for some reason that is foreign to me, is against going commando!

After another 10k run in which my legs all but have given up tackling the steep hills we have more cards and beers before we head out. For the rest of the day I am walking like an old man with very stiff legs.
That evening we do something that is unheard of on our travels - go back to the same restaurant. It's all down to the love of Sushi that we do it. I have even managed to remove the choice of restaurant from my daily list of things to sort out. Genuis.
Anyway after a walk around the top and a milkshake desert (which funnily ia pronounced "milkey shakey" in Portugese) we head back to watch the second half of Fight Club and have an early night. We are VERY excited about Mum, Dad, Nige and Elaine joining us tomorrow. Can't believe that time has come.
PS - Caroline - saw this and thought of you!! ;-) We miss good old 'slutkini'
Yo Aaronius!! Well.....the gauntlet has well and truly been thrown down! Thought long and hard with respect to the vest situation.....was my initial gut reaction the right one....or might I feel differently about it, the longer I dwell on it?

Basically, it is a lovely vest, and the shape works really well for you, I feel. In my opinion, if there is no other living soul in the pool area, it would be absolutely fine to wear it there. The grey suits you very much, and the colour of the image is absolutely fine. However......I am so very sorry, Aaronius....and you know that I do very often support you ......have never been a stereotypical difficult mother in law, but, tragically, I must support Spratty on this occasion. Went with my gut reaction, but that doesn't mean to say that everyone else won't love the icon that is Bart Simpson on your, otherwise über stylish vest!!!!
