This morning is really cloudy so we are in no rush to get up and get out. I manage to catch Kelly & Michael (formerly Regis & Kelly) which pleases me no end. Love that programme and more specifically Kelly!
We then head to a really cool diner called Ruby's Diner for breakfast for my now customary ham and poached eggs with a side of bagel and cream cheese. Need to get exercising again quick. The food, combined with being sat in a hire car and not walking anywhere, does not bode well for the waist line.
Really cool Budweiser delivery at the local supermarket.
We are so lucky with the weather today as it remains thick cloud apart from a strip of blue sky just where the sun happens to be.
That evening I go for a run to try to work off 10% of my breakfast before we get ready in our new clothes to go out...
We start off with a few drinks in the Village Pub which, despite being a poor attempt at replicating and English pub is a really nice bar.
We then go for dinner at a gorgeous Mexican restaurant called Las Casuelas Terraza. It's a huge restaurant with a lovely terrace and garden with a band playing. Being Palm Springs there are lots of oldies jiving away on the dance floor. There will be a few sore hips in the morning.
Personal favourite tastes of America....Ruby's Diner, humungous Budweiser truck, palm trees around pool, neon bat signs, Mexican, ..even Family Guy!! All really lovely flavours of the USA for us to savour!!! Your new clothes are gorgeous, Beanies.....look forward to seeing you in them here!! Love and hugs, Eric xxxxxxxxxx
